A non-profit, non-partisan news service is getting ready to launch at the Illinois State Capitol. Funded by the Illinois Press Foundation and the Robert R. McCormick Foundation, the service will be free to newspapers and broadcasters across Illinois. Organizers hope to have it in operation by the Fall Veto Session.
